Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team on customer visits and business development initiatives.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and provide guidance and support to the sales team to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular engagement and account management.
  • Monitor and follow up on payment collections for rental customers.
  • Evaluate commercial opportunities by considering purchasing costs, selling prices, and profitability.
  • Oversee business performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including the service team, to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and share monthly business performance reports with regional stakeholders and respond to information requests.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business partners.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to support business growth in Singapore and overseas markets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and team management.
  • Valid driving licence required for customer visits.
  • Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate purchasing costs, selling prices, and profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and drive business growth.
  • Interest in taking on broader business management responsibilities in the future.
  • Experience in forklifts, industrial machinery, automotive, or related industries is an added advantage.
  • Experience in leasing or rental services, used equipment sales, or maintenance services is an added advantage.
