Job Summary: Drive business expansion by identifying new clients and developing market-entry strategies across regional and international markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Hunt for and acquire new clients to drive business growth.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and expansion into key markets.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define selection criteria and negotiation terms for technology licensing, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
  • Research and assess potential local and overseas markets, and develop market-entry plans.
  • Leverage market knowledge to strengthen the Company’s value propositions and differentiators.
  • Analyse customer insights, market trends, and competitive conditions to support strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with consultants, government bodies, industry associations, and academic institutions to generate business opportunities.
  • Work closely with development and applications engineering teams to design automation solutions aligned with customer needs and profitability goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create cost models and respond to RFQs/RFPs in a timely manner.
  • Lead marketing activities including exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and promotional campaigns, and provide insights on market trends.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations, information sessions, and engagement events to strengthen business relationships.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development.
  • Knowledge of automation technology or equipment contract manufacturing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a pleasant, collaborative working style.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
