Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily shipping operations and prioritise workloads to meet customer and internal delivery requirements.
  • Manage shipping schedules and coordinate resources to ensure efficient and timely order fulfilment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and documented shipping processes.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve shipping systems, procedures, documentation, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor operational activities and address process discrepancies through corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate daily and monthly operational reports.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and freight forwarders to resolve logistics issues and improve service levels.
  • Drive customer service excellence by ensuring prompt response times, effective follow-up, and reliable support.
  • Lead, train, and develop shipping team members to enhance operational performance and competency.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans where required.
  • Set departmental goals aligned with organisational objectives and promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, leadership, and supervision to the shipping team.
  • Ensure on-time and quality shipment execution.
  • Support business operations outside regular working hours when required.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to plan finished goods deliveries and minimise customer impact.

Requirements

  • Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations experience.
  • Experience in Semiconductor or manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience within a shipping environment.
  • Experience using SAP system.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and improve operational systems and documentation.
  • Experience operating electronic and physical material tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of shipping processes, freight coordination, and delivery scheduling.
