Precision Mold Tooling Technician (Assembly & Debug)

Responsibilities
- Assemble and debug precision semiconductor mold tooling in line with engineering specifications and quality standards
- Conduct root-cause analysis to troubleshoot encapsulation and molding process issues
- Perform tooling adjustments, fine-tuning, and optimization to achieve required dimensional accuracy and performance
- Verify assembly quality using precision measurement tools, focusing on critical-to-function dimensions
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and QA teams to resolve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, test results, and tooling modifications
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S practices, and company procedures
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in precision engineering or plastic injection molding
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and mold assembly schematics
- Expertise in precision assembly of mold chase, inserts, and micro components
- Proven experience in mold chase assembly and debugging or high-precision plastic injection mold assembly
- Ability to identify and interpret critical-to-function dimensions from technical drawings
- Proficiency in high-accuracy measurement tools such as digital height gauges, micron indicators, and optical comparators
